I have assisted brands in developing their full potential for a number of years, working with a collection of established local and international companies as well as many start ups.

My strength lies in providing clarity to the direction a brand should take in order to maximise it’s potential for growth. This through clear insight, strategy, design and communication – supported by accountable project management. Clients have included British American Tobacco Southern Africa, Distell, Engen, Shell, Robertson’s, Shoprite Checkers, the JSE, Nedbank, Unilever, PEP, Clover, Spinneys UAE and many others.

Moving from an original career in Human Resource Development and Training for PriceWaterhouse/Coopers, I shifted gear into the world of Advertising, Design and Communication, quickly moving up the ranks of Account teams. In 1993 I co-founded the highly successful Hardy Boys Communications Agency in Durban, and in 2003 chose to work in Cape Town as an independent brand facilitator, trading under the name Great Scott.

I am committed to getting the best result for each brand, primarily in the areas of corporate branding, retail, customer and employee engagement, loyalty and communication. And my extensive experience in the management of people and processes ensures that the project is realised on time, in budget and powered by clear, open and transparent communication processes for both client and creative teams.

As an independent collaborator, I build teams as required to answer the brief at hand. An approach that ensures best of talent, speed of turnaround, senior and experienced interaction, as well as a being a more affordable model for clients.
